Inspections and Closeout Screen
An authorized user can navigate to the Inspections & Closeout screen by clicking the Inspections & Closeout hyperlink in the Permit section of the navigation menu near the bottom of most pages in EPS.
Inspectors are assigned to permits/licenses where continuous inspections are performed on the work associated with the HOP permit and BOL license. The Inspectors screen section displays all inspectors that were previously assigned to this permit/license. This section also allows Review Team personnel to assign and remove inspectors for this permit/license. All inspectors, including those that were removed, are displayed on the list of inspectors. All users with access to the Inspections and Closeout page can view the list of inspectors assigned to this permit/license.
The Reimbursements section includes a list of the reimbursements for inspection costs posted for this permit/license. It includes functions to create, edit, delete and process these reimbursements. Review Team personnel can delete, submit, and approve these reimbursements. All users with access to the Inspection and Closeout page can view the list of reimbursement.
Each reimbursement listed includes a link to the Reimbursements screen where Review Team personnel can view, add, edit, submit, approve, delete, and/or attach the M-371A form to the selected reimbursement.
The Closeout Information section allows Review Team personnel to enter and update the closeout information for this permit/license. All users with access to the Inspection and Closeout screen can view closeout data.
The Subsequent Inspection Details section allows Review Team personnel to view details of sub-surface utility permit inspections performed after permit close-out. An Edit button for this section provides access to the Edit Inspection Details screen where inspection date, highway failure indicator are entered. If highway failure indicator equals Yes comments are required to explain the reason for rejection and any necessary follow-ups. A Delete option is available for each record. If clicked, the screen refreshes and the inspection record is removed.
