Security

During the review, Reviewers enter standard and/or custom comments to appear on the response letter.

Reviewers can add new comments and include or exclude comments added by Reviewers. Level 1 Reviewers can include or exclude comments added by level 2 and level 3 Reviewers. Level 2 Reviewers can include or exclude comments added by level 3 Reviewers.

Adding New Review Comments

1.      Click Work Queue to locate applications assigned to you. Click the application number to open its Application Information screen.

2.      Click Review Comments. The Review Comments screen appears.

3.      To select from a list of standard comments, click on the Standard Comments button. The Review Comments Selection screen lists all standard comments. Selected Records appear at the top. The Available Records list contains comment codes available for selection.

·        Click the check box before one or more comments in the Available Records.

·        Click Apply to move the records to the Selected Records list.

·        To remove a Selected Record, click its check box and click Apply to return it to the Available Records list.

·        After selecting all comments, click OK. The Review Comments screen lists all comments selected on the previous screen.

4.       To create your own custom comments, click the Custom Comments button. The Edit Reviewer Comment page is displayed.

·        From the Section Number drop down, select the appropriate section in which your new comment belongs.

·        From the Display on Response Letter drop down, select First or Last. Selecting First will display the comment, on the Response Letter, on the top of the list of comments in the selected section. Selecting Last will display the comment on the bottom of the list of comments in the selected section.

·        Enter your new custom comment into the Description field.

·        Click on Save and New to create another custom comment, if necessary.

·        Click on Save and Exit to return to the Review Comments screen, which will list any new comments you created.

·        On the Review Comments page, click Save to save the current comments.

·        After saving, you can edit the text. Click the Comment Code. The editing window appears.

·        Edit the text as needed for the current application. Complete blank spaces (phone numbers, names, etc.).

·        Click Save & Exit to return to the Review Comments screen. Note that the Changed column displays Yes to indicate that you made changes to the standard text.

5.      Continue adding or editing comments as needed.

6.      Click Save & Exit to return to the Application Information screen.

Including and Excluding Comments

To include or exclude review comments added by other reviewers:

1.      Click Work Queue to locate applications assigned to you. Click the application number to open its Application Information screen.

2.      Click Review Comments. All review comments added by reviewers are listed.

3.      To include a comment in the final response letter, click its Include dropdown box. Click Yes to include it.

4.      To exclude a comment from the final response, click the Include dropdown box. Click No to exclude it.

5.      Continue to include and exclude comments until the Include box is complete for all comments listed.

6.      Click Save to save the comments. Click Save & Exit to save the comments and return to the Application Information screen.
