The Work Queue screen displays all applications currently assigned to the user, based on user role and the application status. Highlighted applications in a work queue indicate that all reviewers below your review level have completed their reviews; now you can start your review.
PennDOT receivers, reviewers and approvers have access to Work Queue functions. When Work Queue is selected from the menu bar, all of the user's work queue options, based on the roles assigned to their user ID, display.
The Work Queue screen is divided in sections based on the current status of each application. Applications are sorted in ascending order by:
· Date submitted
· Review Status
· Application Number
Click a column heading to sort applications in ascending order. Click a second time to sort in descending order.
Click an application to start or resume the review process.
Four views of the Work Queue are available for selection using links in the My Work Queue menu. Each work queue view contains links to the remaining work queues.

Application Assignment
When applications are submitted, they are assigned to user work queues based on the current status. A user's Work Queue displays only applications that are available to a user, based on the user's role and/or agency and the current application status.
· Submitted applications are assigned to the County or District Receiver when the county or district code on the application matches the receivers assigned code. If an application is unassigned, the receiver can open the application and assign it.
· Received status indicates that the receiver has been assigned but the receiver has not assigned a reviewer. The receiver must assign at least one Level 1 reviewer (County, District, Central Office or Federal) to the application.
· Under Review status indicates that at least one reviewer has been assigned and the reviewer has not completed reviewing the application (The Review Status cannot be Complete, Mark Complete or Withdrawn.) After all reviewers have completed the review process, the application is moved to Pending Response status.
· Pending Response status indicates that the application has been assigned to a District Responder or Approval and the response is not complete. If an application is unassigned, the responder can open the application and assign it.
· Building Response status indicates that as a Responder, the logged in user has begun to review comments and conditions and is preparing to select a response to the Applicant.
· Conditional Approval status indicates that the permit must be recorded with the County as a legal document before it can be issued.
