Logging into ECMS for the First Time

Creating EPS Users

In the e-mail you received when your organization was approved as an ECMS Business Partner, there is a link to the ECMS home page. You can also access the ECMS Home page from the EPS Welcome page (under the Links section, click on the ECMS Home option).

Or just click on this link ECMS Home.

1.      From the ECMS Home page, enter the User ID and password provided in the e-mail into the login fields on the Home page.

2.      Click Go.

3.      The first attempt to log in to ECMS will result in a prompt to change the assigned password and create a security question and answer.

4.      A popup displays, asking you to create a Security Question and Answer.

5.      Select a question.

6.      Enter the answer. This will be used if you ever need to reset your password.

7.      Click OK.

8.      You will be prompted to change your Administration ID password.

9.      Enter a new password.

10.  Enter the new password again to confirm it.

11.  Click Submit. A confirmation message displays.

12.  Click OK.

You are now ready to create a user in ePermitting for yourself and/or others.
