Notify PennDOT that Permitted Work has been Completed
The Notify PennDOT menu is available for issued permits, and allows a Permittee to notify PennDOT that the permitted work has been completed.
To notify PennDOT that permitted work has been completed:
1. Navigate to any screen for the applicable permit.
2. Click the [Notify PennDOT] button in the menu near the top of the screen.
3. Click the [Work Completed] button in the list of options.
Note: the Work Completed option can be clicked at any time. If it was clicked previously, it will continue to appear in the list of options.
Notifying PennDOT when permitted work has been completed:
Populates the Notification of Work Complete date (with the current date)
Generates an email to any assigned Inspectors, the County Reviewers, the District Responders, and the Applicant Team.
Does not change the permit status from Awaiting Inspection if continuous inspection is required, but no Inspectors have been assigned.
Does not change the permit status from Issued if continuous inspection is not required, and no Inspector have been assigned.
Does not change the permit status from Under Inspection if there is already one or more Inspectors assigned.
